Independent games. Carefully built worlds.

Radish Studio

About Us

Games and platforms built with purpose

Radish Studios is an independent UK game studio developing original games, gaming platforms and supporting technology.

Our goal is straightforward: create high-quality products that are enjoyable, accessible and fairly priced.

We believe players should not have to choose between affordability and quality. Whether we are building a game, a discovery platform or a service for gaming communities, we aim to deliver something useful, carefully designed and worth supporting.

What We Build

Radish Studios develops both games and gaming platforms.

Our projects include persistent online worlds, smaller standalone games, server discovery services and tools that help players find experiences suited to them.

Each product serves a different audience, but they are all guided by the same principles.

We want to build products that respect the people using them, provide clear value and remain sustainable over the long term.

Our Philosophy

High Quality at a Fair Price

We aim to produce the best games and services we can without relying on inflated pricing.

A lower price should not mean a careless product, and a high-quality experience should not be reserved only for those willing to spend heavily.

Our pricing is intended to reflect genuine value, support continued development and remain accessible to the audiences our products are built for.

Complete and Enjoyable Experiences

Games should be designed to be enjoyed, not deliberately weakened to pressure players into spending money.

Where a product includes free access, subscriptions, optional purchases or advertising, the core experience should still feel worthwhile.

Paid options should provide clear value without undermining the experience of people who choose not to pay.

Respectful Monetisation

Monetisation should support a product rather than dictate its design.

We do not want to build games around pay-to-win systems, artificial inconvenience or purchases that compromise competitive integrity.

For our platforms, advertising and sponsored placements should be clearly disclosed and kept separate from organic recommendations or rankings.

Users should understand when something is promoted and why it is being shown to them.

Accessibility

We want our products to be accessible to as many people as reasonably possible.

This includes pricing, hardware requirements, usability and the way information is presented.

Our games are designed with lower-end and older hardware in mind where practical, while still allowing optional visual improvements for players with more powerful systems.

Accessibility does not mean removing depth. It means avoiding unnecessary barriers.

Focused Communities

Not every game needs millions of players to be successful.

We value dedicated communities, meaningful player relationships and products that serve a clear audience well.

A smaller, active community can be more valuable than chasing mass-market growth at the expense of the people already using the product.

Our projects are designed around the audiences they are intended for, rather than being reshaped to appeal to everyone.

Long-Term Thinking

We want to build products that can be supported, improved and maintained over time.

That means developing carefully, avoiding unsustainable growth and making decisions that protect the long-term health of the studio, its products and its communities.

We would rather grow steadily than expand faster than we can responsibly support.

Who We Build For

We build for players who value complete, affordable and thoughtfully designed games.

We build for people who prefer focused communities over overcrowded platforms.

We build for server owners who need practical tools to promote and manage their communities.

We build for independent developers and studios that deserve fair ways to reach players.

We build for people who want better discovery, clearer recommendations and more transparency from the platforms they use.

Above all, we build for people who care about the experience itself.

Our Products

Guardfall

Guardfall is a persistent online role-playing game built around exploration, progression, community and an evolving world.

It is designed for players who enjoy long-term character development, meaningful systems and the freedom to approach the game at their own pace.

Serverly

Serverly is a game-server discovery, ranking and advertising platform.

It is designed to help players find communities that match their interests while giving server owners practical tools to manage their presence, understand their audience and promote their servers transparently.

Future Games

Radish Studios plans to produce smaller standalone games alongside its larger projects.

These games will explore different genres, settings and ideas while remaining focused, affordable and complete experiences.

They will be developed using HELIOS, our internal 2D engine and production framework.

Future Discovery Platform

We are also planning a personalised game-discovery platform covering both independent games and major releases.

The platform will help players find games based on their interests, preferences and similarities between titles, while giving verified developers and studios better ways to present their work.

Building an Independent Studio

Radish Studios is being built as a sustainable independent studio.

Developing multiple games and platforms allows us to explore different ideas, support different parts of the gaming community and avoid relying entirely on a single product.

This does not mean every project will be developed at the same time or released quickly.

Each product has its own purpose, priorities and development timeline. Projects will be announced and released when they are ready to represent the standard we expect from the studio.

Our intention is to grow carefully, remain independent where possible and create a stable foundation for the people, products and communities connected to Radish Studios.

Our Commitment

We will not always get everything right, but we will aim to be transparent about what we are building, why decisions are made and what users can expect from us.

We will listen to feedback without allowing short-term pressure to undermine the long-term direction of our products.

We will treat players, developers, community owners and customers with respect.

We will continue working towards games and services that are high quality, fairly priced and genuinely useful.

That is what Radish Studios is being built to deliver.
